Why choose Slater and Gordon as your legal representative?

We understand just how important the support and guidance Heel and Toe Children's Charity provides is to families living with cerebral palsy, and are proud to support them.

We strive to ensure that we provide the high level of service our clients would expect from one of Heel and Toe's supporters and will ensure we achieve the best possible outcome to their case.

Highly experienced

Our highly specialist medical negligence team have been representing those who’ve experienced medical negligence for decades, and have been involved in some of the most high-profile and ground-breaking cases.

Having worked with charities supporting those affected by cerebral palsy for many years, we understand the challenges you face and we'll be with you throughout your case, every step of the way.

Strong reputation

We have a strong reputation for achieving outstanding results for cerebral palsy medical negligence claims, as well as ensuring that the best available treatment and rehabilitation is also obtained. Independent legal guides such as Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 have ranked our teams highly over the years and consider many of our medical negligence experts to be leaders in their field. During this time, we've also won and been shortlisted in a number of prestigious legal awards such as the Personal Injury Awards, Manchester Legal Awards, Modern Claim Awards, Wales Legal Awards and the Liverpool Law Society Awards.

Medical team of nurses and midwives

Our team, which spans across England, Scotland and Wales, also includes nurses and midwives who are able to offer bespoke medical advice and guidance in addition to the legal expertise provided by our specialist lawyers.

Treatment and rehabilitation support

We work with some of the best case managers and treatment providers in the UK - not only to ensure that the treatment and support you receive is the best available, but also to seek early interim payments. This is a key part of our strategy to ensure there's funding to begin as soon as possible, giving you and your family the best chance for a better quality of life.

No financial risk

Slater and Gordon is also able to offer Legal Aid funding on cases where a child has suffered from a neurological injury at birth or within the early neonatal period, such as cerebral palsy.

It’s important to note that not all law firms are able to offer Legal Aid funding, but Slater and Gordon is an exception.

By funding your case through Legal Aid, you'll have no financial risk.

Providing a seamless end to end service for all your legal needs

Additionally, as we’re one of the largest consumer law firms in the UK, we also have dedicated experts in a wide range of specialist legal services, who can offer bespoke expertise when it’s needed, such as Court of Protection and family law, in addition to an independent financial planning company, who can help ensure any compensation received lasts your lifetime and gives you financial protection. Having these bespoke services enables us to provide our clients with an end-to-end seamless service for their legal and financial needs.
