Supporting our customers

It’s business as usual as far as possible here at Slater and Gordon as we continue to work on your case through the new national COVID-19 restrictions.

Staying in touch

Rest assured we’re doing all we can to keep you informed during these unprecedented times.

We’ll be in touch when there’s any significant change in your case. So, please don’t feel you need to check in on how the restrictions are affecting your situation.

You can follow our Slater and Gordon LinkedIn and Facebook channels to get updated as the situation changes.

The effects of the restrictions

Prioritising safety and the knock on effects of the new restrictions mean some processes are taking longer than usual. For example:

Medical consultations – Current Government guidelines allow for medical consultations, and where possible, we’re looking to do this by video link. However, we know that sometimes a face to face meeting is required. We’re working closely with the medical agencies to arrange the consultations as quickly as possible.

Rehabilitation treatment – As a result of social distancing rules, the physical interaction required to provide treatment may be restricted. We’re working closely with the treatment agencies in order to ensure your safety whilst providing the required treatment.

Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service – The courts system is operating throughout the new restrictions but overall has been severely impacted by COVID-19. This means court dates may be delayed or moved at short notice.

Third parties such as insurers – You’ll appreciate that every business we work with on your behalf is also dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 restrictions and it may take them a little longer to respond than normal. We’ll continue to work hard with them to keep any delays to a minimum.

Protecting our colleagues

In line with Government guidance, our offices remain open and we have taken every precaution to make them COVID-19 secure.

Where we can, we’ve also provided our colleagues with the technology and training to be able to work from home to continue to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
